Terms & License

What you can do with this kit, what you can't, and what you're responsible for.

License

Steve's Funnel Kit is the intellectual property of Steve Butler. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this kit for your own business or client projects.

  • Use it to build landing pages for your own business
  • Use it for client projects and white-label work
  • Modify, customise, and extend the code as needed
  • Do not redistribute, resell, or share the kit itself as a product or template
  • Do not claim authorship of the kit or its design system

Use at Your Own Risk

This kit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Steve Butler is not liable for any damages, data loss, security breaches, or business losses arising from your use of this kit.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your API keys and secrets secure
  • Configuring ALLOWED_ORIGINS with your production domain before going live
  • Never committing your .env file to version control
  • Storing GHL credentials as encrypted environment variables on Cloudflare
  • Complying with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.) for your lead capture forms
  • Testing your deployment thoroughly before sending traffic to it

Security Note

The kit ships with CORS protection, rate limiting, origin validation, input sanitization, tag allowlisting, honeypot fields, and security headers pre-configured. However, security is a shared responsibility. You must configure your allowed origins and keep your API keys encrypted on Cloudflare. The kit provides the tools… you need to use them correctly.

GoHighLevel Integration

This kit integrates with GoHighLevel for lead capture. You are responsible for your own GHL account, API usage, and compliance with GHL's terms of service. The kit author has no access to your GHL data and is not responsible for any issues with your GHL account or API usage.

Third-Party Services

This kit uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting and GoHighLevel for CRM. Both are third-party services with their own terms, pricing, and policies. The kit author is not affiliated with either service beyond being a user. Any costs associated with these services are your responsibility.
